Good to Know

Fresh ingredients make the best tea; but if the best before date has passed, the cup is still worth making.
The right amount is somewhere between a careful teaspoon and an instinct. We'd start with one heaped teaspoon per mug (that’s around 2-3g of tea for 300ml of water), and adjust from there. Herbs are forgiving. So is this.
Before you brew, take a moment with the herbs. Crush them lightly with your fingers, or use a pestle and mortar if you have one. It wakes them up. You'll notice the difference immediately.
How much and how long you steep is yours to decide. Different ingredients come forward at different stages. A shorter steep is brighter, a longer one deeper and more complex. Follow the blend-specific guidance below, or experiment and find what you love. There's no wrong answer.
Always use boiling water. It draws out the best of what's in the blend and keeps things safe along the way.
When you're done, don't discard the leaves. A second infusion - same leaves, fresh boiling water - will give you a gentler cup. Quieter, but still good.

A Sense of Ease

We recommend one large teaspoon of the blend (approx. 3g) per 300ml of boiling water.

This blend’s infusion sweet spot sits at about 5 minutes. Go too far beyond that and the cornflower quietens the beautiful citrus notes.
Good Morning

We recommend one teaspoon of tea blend (approx. 2g) per 300ml of boiling water.

Infuse for 3 - 5 minutes. Balance is key here, a longer infusion will result in a stronger flavour, but wait too long and the delicate notes fade too far into the background.
Good Night

We recommend one large teaspoon of tea blend (approx. 3g) per 300ml of boiling water.

Infuse for no longer than 5 minutes. This blend contains hops, which start to bitter if they are left too long.
Gut Feeling

We recommend one large teaspoon of tea blend (approx. 2g) per 300ml of boiling water. This blend particularly benefits from a release of essential oils before steeping - lightly break up the ingredients with a pestle and mortar or simply use your fingers.

You can infuse this blend for as long as you like: shorter for something milder, longer for something stronger. You don't even need to remove the herbs as you drink, they'll only keep giving.
Soul Warmer

We recommend one large teaspoon of tea blend (approx. 2g) per 300ml of boiling water.

Infuse for approximately 5 minutes. The longer this blend is left to infuse, the more the ginger root will take the lead - something to know, and possibly to welcome.

Order Processing

We process and ship orders from Monday to Friday. If you order before 12pm, your order will be shipped on the same day. No orders are processed on weekends or during UK public holidays. You will receive a shipping notification once your order has been shipped.

International Orders typically take around 1 to 2 weeks to arrive. Please allow for extra time if there are delays beyond our control, such as during public holidays.

Damages & Non-Delivery

Please inspect the contents of your order upon receipt. If any items are missing or have arrived damaged, please notify us as soon as possible so we can remedy the situation.

Please also report damage obviously incurred during transport and the non-delivery of orders without delay.
