Are all Metta teas organic?
Yes, all of our teas are certified organic and are made from 100% certified organic ingredients.

Do Metta teas contain any flavourings?
None of our teas contain any kind of flavourings. Instead, let the herbs and spices speak for themselves.

Why can different batches of tea taste slightly different?
Because we use real, natural ingredients - and nature varies. Soil conditions, rainfall, sunlight and the timing of each harvest all influence how our herbs taste. We think that's a good thing.

Are Metta teas vegan?
Yes. All of our teas are completely free from animal-derived ingredients.

Can I drink Metta teas if I have allergies?
Our teas do not contain any of the 14 major allergens. If you have severe allergies, please check the full ingredient list for your blend, contact us and/or consult a healthcare professional if you're unsure.

Do Metta teas contain caffeine?
No. All Metta teas are naturally caffeine-free.

Is it safe to drink Metta teas while pregnant and/or breastfeeding?
Herbs and spices can have profound effects on our bodies. While our teas are generally safe to consume during pregnancy and breastfeeding, each person is different, and individual reactions to herbs and spices may vary. We'd encourage you to look into the specific herbs in whichever blend you're drawn to, and to speak with your healthcare provider if you have any questions.

Why are Metta teas not available in tea bags?
A few reasons, all connected. Loose leaf lets you experience the herbs as they actually are - their colour, scent and texture - which a teabag can't offer. It also means no extra packaging, no bleaching agents or chemicals, and no unnecessary waste. We try to leave things as close to nature as possible, and loose leaf is simply the most honest way to do that.

How should I store Metta teas?
Away from heat, moisture, strong light and strong smells. Once opened, reseal the pouch and store in a cool, dry place.

Are all of your ingredients responsibly sourced?
Yes. All of our ingredients are certified organic and come from suppliers who share our values. Organic farming reduces pesticide use, protects biodiversity, and is better for the soil, the growers and the planet. We're also working to reduce our transport footprint over time by building relationships with more local suppliers.

How sustainable is your packaging?
Our pouches are made from fully compostable materials, and our delivery boxes use FSC-certified cardboard, which is fully recyclable. We're always looking at where we can do better.

How much does delivery cost?
All UK orders are sent with Royal Mail Tracked 48, which includes full tracking and proof of delivery.
Orders under £25: £3.65
Orders £25 and over: free
You can upgrade to Royal Mail Tracked 24 at checkout for £4.65. -
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the UK only. International shipping is coming soon.

When will my order be sent?
We send orders Monday to Friday, usually the same day or the next working day after your order comes in. We don't process orders on weekends or UK public holidays. You'll receive an email with your tracking link as soon as your order is on its way.

How soon will my order arrive?
Tracked 48 orders typically arrive within 2–4 working days; Tracked 24 within 1–2. Please allow a little extra time around public holidays or during busy periods.

Can I still make changes to my order?
If your order hasn't been dispatched yet, we can usually amend it. Email us at support@metta-herbal.com as soon as possible with your order details and we'll do our best.
